FAQ 4 - How do I submit artwork to Callard?

Artwork Guidlines

Please follow these guidlines when providing artwork:

  1. Send the email to orders@callard.com and cc: your sales rep.
  2. In the subject area have your sales rep's name and the name of the item you are ordering. (If you have a Callard PO number, put this in the subject area too.)
  3. In the body of your email list: what type of file is being attached, (jpeg/tiff), what program it was created in (Adobe Illustrator) and what type of computer it was created on (PC or Mac)

Provide us with name of your company, a contact name/phone number and your PO number (if you have one). Include the name of the item that the logo will be printed on (i.e. golf balls, etc).

A COPY OF THE ARTWORK MUST BE FAXED TO 614.933.0404. This will allow us to match up your email version with the fax to make sure we have the proper file.

Please note that unit prices are based on electronic artwork being furnished by the customer.

Exact size and dimensions of your imprint area will be provided by your sales rep. Any artwork, typesetting, resizing or retouching needed on the original artwork supplied will be billed to the client accordingly.

 

FAQ 5 - What is the production time?

Standard production time typically ranges from 5-10 business days. Extended production time may be necessary for large quantity orders. Production time will begin after all proofs are approved in writing.

 

FAQ 6 - What are over & under runs?

In some cases it is an industry standard to have up to 10 percent over or under runs on merchandise. All factories reserve the right to ship and invoice for these overruns. Check with your sales representative on your item. An exact quantity is generally increased charge.

 

FAQ 7 - What is a PMS color?

Using a system of number, printers and designers use the Pantone Matching System to identify specific colors, which are referred to as PMS Colors. All PMS Colors are assigned a PMS Number.

 

FAQ 8 - Who do I speak with in my company to find out my PMS Color?

Check with your marketing department, graphic designer or possibly your printer who handles your hetterhead, envelopes, etc.

 

FAQ 9 - Do you accept rush orders?

Absolutely! We have several manufacturers that have 24-72 hour rush services on specific merchandise. Generally, these items are pre-determined by the manufacturer and there are specific instructions that have to be followed to ensure on-time delivery.

 

FAQ 10 - What are your terms?

Callard's standard terms are payment due net 15 days from the date of the invoice.

FAQ 11 - Do you require a deposit?

A 50% deposit is required on custom orders and clients who have not established a payment history with Callard.
